Spicy Pumpkin Seeds with Sesame, Garlic and Chile

Chile Pepita Crunch

This condiment was inspired by a trip to the Yucatan. It is best served with chips and salsa, avocados, eggs every way, beans, seafood, on any green salad, yogurt, bananas with peanut butter, truly one for all items. Make it ‘hippie’ and add 1/4 cup toasted sunflower seeds.

Pumpkin Seed Mix

2 cups (278 grams) toasted pumpkin seeds

¼ cup (32 grams) toasted sesame seeds

¼ cup (32 grams) toasted hemp hearts

½ cup sunflower seed or avocado oil

7 large cloves garlic, crushed small and cooked golden in oil above

1 tsp (4 grams) ground morita chile powder

Method:

Add the above ingredients to small bowl and mix well. Store in refrigerator when cool.
